 nance is the system of checks and balances for lea
 ders in not-for-profit organisations which leads t
 o a positive Board member experience\, proper mana
 gement of conflicts of interest and risk\, good un
 derstanding and planning for financial controls an
 d an organisation that thrives even through advers
 ity. This sounds simple yet volunteer non-profit o
 rganisations and charitable boards and committees 
 must wade through the complex legal and regulatory
  environment in which they operate.</p>\n \n <p>Th
 is session will make this easier by helping your o
 rganisation to prioritise your work plan and achie
 ve the best practice framework. Not only will your
  organisation benefit\, but also your members\, fu
 nders and donors who will gain greater confidence 
 when good governance and transparency are in place
  and greater value can be delivered to the communi
