 she/her) is a practising social worker with extens
 ive experience in the mental health system\, and g
 ender based violence services. She has worked inte
 rnationally in refugee programs\, and in remote co
 mmunities which are experiences that heavily shape
  her cross-cultural and intersectional approach. S
 he also holds post-graduate qualifications in Disa
 ster Healthcare\, Mental Health Practise\, and Pub
 lic Health.</span></span></span></p>\n \n <p style
 ="margin-bottom:11px\;"><span style="font-size:12p
 t\;"><span style="line-height:115%\;"><span style=
 "font-family:Aptos\, sans-serif\;">She has experie
 nce in frontline disaster response through both pr
 ofessional and volunteer roles\, and was awarded t
 he National Emergency Medal for her work during th
 e 2019-2020 fires. Selina has also had active role
 s in disaster planning (including COVID-19) implem
 enting strategies to support and engage particular
 ly vulnerable people\, such as rough sleepers. She
  endeavours to bring these diverse experiences\, a
 nd the voices of people often overlooked in disast
 er planning and response\, to her work with GADAus

 er. An operational firefighter for more than 30 ye
 ars\, Steve is an experienced trainer and passiona
 te presenter on gender\, diversity and inclusion a
 nd passionate advocate for a more equitable and fa
 irer society for all. A long-standing presenter an
 d advocate for prevention of violence against wome
 n\, as well as the Pat Cronin Foundation’s ‘End th
 e Coward Punch’ campaign\, Steve has developed a r
 eputation for driving critical cultural change\, i
 nfluencing policy\, and achieving high levels of i
 nstitutional support.</span></span></span></p>\n \
