Position Summary:
Barnardos is seeking an accomplished and passionate Executive Leader to oversee our Children and Families portfolio. This pivotal role reports into the CEO and sits on the Executive Leadership Team, and will involve leading a dedicated team, shaping strategic initiatives, and driving positive change for vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership, direction, and strategy for the Children and Families division.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, employees, and partners to develop and implement innovative programs and services.
- Manage and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, outcomes and inclusivity.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure efficient operations.
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of children and families in various forums.
Background and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (master’s preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in a nonprofit or social services organisation.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Commitment to Barnardos’ mission and values.
