Facilitated by Julie Moore from Koorimunication
Julie Moore is a proud member of the Wandandian people of the Yuin nation and is based in the Shoalhaven region on the NSW South Coast. Julie brings over 35 years experience in Indigenous affairs in both NSW State and Commonwealth Public Sectors with an emphasis on education and employment. Julie is the Principal of Koorimunication, a professional Indigenous owned and managed private consultancy established in 2008. It is Julie's long professional experience coupled with her Aboriginal community roots that forms the conerstone of Koorimunication's services.
Julie has developed this training to:
- Assist workers to attain a practical and measureable difference in the lives of Aboriginal people.
- Assist government and corporate organisations to better engage with Aboriginal people and communities.
The training program will include such modules as cultural respect, effective communication, past policies and practices that have impacted upon Aboriginal people, and yarning circles on various topics.
No prerequisites needed.
