Red Tape Reform Project
Red Tape Reform has been part of the administrative reform agenda jointly developed by the ACT Government and NGOs funded by the ACT Government.
Red Tape Reform aims to align management of risk with reporting obligations, and reduce the burden of regulatory, funding and administrative compliance so organisations can maximise resourcing to advocacy, service provision and other activities that deliver on their community purpose.
The focus of ACTCOSS advocacy has been on the changes to procurement, contracting, compliance and reporting that will ensure the right balance of risk management, scrutiny and impact analysis in administration of funding arrangements.
ACTCOSS also contributes to the work of ACOSS on issues related to Federal Government funding arrangements.
