Do you have a story of transition?
2017 is shaping up as a year of change in the community sector here in the ACT with shifts to individualised funding models, a number of contracts drawing to a close and many services wondering about their futures.
ACTCOSS is working to draw together a body of evidence which will show how services are changing, as well as reflecting on those changes through the lived experience of people who experience and rely on community services in the ACT.
Just like our Stories of Home last year, we want to give voice to ordinary people who can provide an insight into broader changes - we want to know what has been lost and what has been gained.
How? We'll interview people and help them share their stories in a way that is true to them. People can choose to be anonymous and to share as much or as little information as they want.
Who? We want to hear from a mix of people who use services, as well as ground staff and volunteers in services who are in the midst of change.
