Information Session: WWVP Requirements for Community Organisations

Want to learn more about Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) requirements? 

Join ACTCOSS and representatives from ACT Government's WWVP team for a free one-hour online information session that will cover the following topics: 

• When a card is required for paid/volunteer staff 
• Volunteering requirements and eligibility criteria 
• The intersection with NSW Working with Children Checks (WWCC) 
• Differences between WWVP Cards and a Police Check 
• Supervision requirements while WWVP cards are being processed 
• ID requirements, especially challenges faced by new migrants, and strategies for mitigation 

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions during this information session.
