Online consultation: Community Sector Climate Adaptation Plan

ACTCOSS is leading the development of a Community Sector Adaptation Plan in partnership with the ACT Government. 

We invite you to attend this online session to share what you are seeing on the ground and what challenges a changing climate is bringing for and your clients or members. We'd like to hear about what support you need most so you can keep delivering into the future. 

You do not need any climate or science expertise to be involved. This session is all about what community organisations are experiencing and what support they need. 

Based on our consultation, ACTCOSS will develop a practical, sector-informed plan that supports organisations to prepare for and respond to climate impacts, and strengthens the sector’s ability to deliver into the future.

This sector-wide plan builds on a pilot program delivered last year in partnership with the ACT Government. ACTCOSS worked with ten ACT community organisations to draft their own adaptation plans.
