ACTCOSS influences government policy to improve the lives of disadvantaged people and develops a well-resourced, cohesive and sustainable community sector. ACTCOSS is a member of the nationwide COSS network, made up of each state and territory COSS and our national body, the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS).

The opportunity
The Business Manager contributes as part of the management team, reports to the CEO and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations of ACTCOSS, with specific responsibility for Human Resources, Finance, Risk, Governance, Planning, Information and Communications Technology and delivery of organisation improvement projects.
This role would suit a person with high energy, excellent communication and time management skills and a background in the management of operations, human resources and/or finance.

Remuneration
ACTCOSS has above-award pay and conditions as part of the ACT Community Sector Multiple Enterprise Agreement (MEA).
- The position is classified under the SCHADS award as Level 6.
- The annual full-time wage is currently $111,424, plus 12% superannuation.
The successful applicant must have the right to live and work in Australia.
