Information Session: State of the ACT Community Sector Report 2025: Key insights for community sector leaders
Join ACTCOSS for a sector-wide briefing on the State of the ACT Community Sector Report 2025 and the 2026 State of the Community Sector Survey.
This session will unpack the findings from the 2025 State of the Community Sector survey on service demand, workforce pressures and sector sustainability, and explore what they mean for community in the ACT and surrounding region.
Over the last year, ACT community organisations have experienced significant increases in demand, longer wait times and growing service complexity. Many services were unable to meet all requests for support. The 2025 report has helped organisations present data on these key issues.
The survey findings highlight critical issues for governance, planning, workforce wellbeing, budgets and funding.
This session will explore:
- key trends and pressures shaping the sector, including demand, burnout, pay inequity and client complexity
- workforce and sustainability insights, and
- what these trends mean for governance, service planning and organisational risk.
The session will also explore how your organisation can shape ACTCOSS’s policy and advocacy priorities for 2026.
