(Youth) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid 2-Day Workshop
This two-day workshop if for adults interested in learning how to assist Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Young People who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
This course is based on evidence from the expert consensus of Aboriginal mental health professionals, many of whom also here lived experience of mental health problems.
At the end of the course, you can become an accredited Mental Health First Aider by completing an online assessment.
NB: You do not need to be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person to do this course. Prerequisites needed, but participants must attend the two full days.
