Volunteering ACT (VACT) and representitives from Access Canberra Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Team will be co-facilitating an information session about all about WWVP cards and registration.
Topics that will be included in Access Canberra’s presentation:

incidental vs non-incidental contact,

WWVP scheme as a part of the broader protective framework. Differences between WWVP registration and employment police check, employment suitability assessment, character check.

importance of nominating all regulated activities/employers and updating this information - notifications from Access Canberra to employers about changes to application and registration status,
