ACTCOSS welcomes new Board members

ACTCOSS held our 2023 Annual General meeting yesterday, Tuesday 21 November. Thank you to all who attended or sent in their apologies.
It was heartening to hear about ACTCOSS’s accomplishments over the previous financial year and an excellent opportunity for those who attended to network with colleagues from across the sector.
The meeting included the election for new Board members, with seven nominations received for three vacant Director positions. I am pleased to welcome, on behalf of the ACTCOSS Board and staff, the following new ACTCOSS Directors:
- Zakia Patel, Multicultural Hub Canberra
- Lauren Anthes, Womens Health Matters
- Lucy Hohnen, St Vincent De Paul Society.
We look forward to working with you over the coming three years.
The meeting also saw our outgoing Board Chair, Jeremy Halcrow (The Benevolent Society) confirmed in the role for a further three-year term. Congratulations Jeremy!
