ACTCOSS made a submission to the Inquiry into Dangerous Driving with a focus on prevention of harmful behaviour. Our submission foregrounds the underlying socioeconomic determinants of criminogenic behaviour that may result in serious harm to the community. We recommend justice reinvestment strategies, funding for alcohol and other drug services and evidence based criminal justice approaches across the board.
