Submission: Inquiry into Cost of Living Pressures in the ACT

ACTCOSS made a submission to the Legislative Assembly Inquiry into Cost of Living pressures in the ACT. Cost of living pressures faced by low and moderate income households that are not currently alleviated by ACT or Commonwealth Government assistance programs include the high cost and inadequate support for housing and energy and the lack of affordable healthcare in the ACT. Our submission detailed a range of short term and long term measures that the ACT Government can take to help alleviate cost of living pressures.
