Submission: Inquiry Into Planning Bill 2022

ACTCOSS provided a submission to the ACT Government’s Planning, Transport and City Services Committee’s Inquiry into the Planning Bill 2022 regarding Territory planning. Our submission urged amendments to the Bill to ensure future developments and planning are developed in an inclusive and accessible way, and that planning contributes to more affordable and social housing supply in the ACT. A social planning model and improvements to zoning, affordability and minimum targets for social housing are essential to a sustainable Canberra.
